Out of my three paddles, the Grit hybrid is my new main! It has more grit and power than another paddle I bought used, though sells at $279. I rented a foam paddle for a friend, that sells at $195, and the Grit R1-CW still has more power and spin. Yet, it also has control. The paddle has helped me learn and implement topspin on my serves. Great customer service and the paddle arrived earlier than expected. I’m so impressed, I bought the R1-TW and pre-ordered the E2-CF Flex-Foam. I’m loving it!

Forgot to add some pictures on my first review, but I’ve got to say, that’s not the only paddle I’ve used from Jacob. Everything I’ve tried from GRIT has been fantastic. Whatever size or setup you like, same goes for their gear, just buy GRIT. You won’t regret it.

I have just received 2 paddles from Grit...the CW and TW Hybrid. I wanted to leave a review that isnt based yet on the use of the paddle as I havent had the chance to play with them. The review is for Jacob's excellent communication and assistance.

Im based in Australia and came across the Grit paddles by happenstance . I contacted Jacob about an issue I had in trying to ship to Australia and he had solved the issue immediately. That inspired confidence in who I was dealing with and subsequently ordered 2 paddles from him. As i mentioned havent had the chance to play with them as yet but the feel and quality of the paddles is immediately apparent having owned several more well known brands.
I wish him success and look forward to purchasing again...albeit the grit may be more tamed down on the next series of paddles ;-)

Bought this paddle over the hype. i have several other paddles before have experience. This paddle almost feels like $20 paddle when you hit the ball. the paddle vibrates playing shots especially when stopping shots from other side. no control what soever.

I love the balance, feel and control of this paddle. The power and pop are just right. My balls do not sail high as much as other poppy paddles. I love the spin I got from the face of the paddle. I am a recreational player so this suits me well. I ordered 2 more.

Amazing paddle and the grit on these lives up to the claim. Leaving 4-stars, not because of the paddle but rather due to pricing (going lower) after purchasing the paddle at a slightly higher price 24 hours earlier. Oh well!

So much fun playing with it !

The GRIT paddle is exactly what I needed! The weight is incredible, so easy to handle, and I will be ordering for Christmas gifts.
My whole family plays, I can pick one for all ages.

I’ve been playing with this GRIT paddle the last few weeks, and I’ve got to say, Jacob really put the work in to make an awesome paddle. You can tell a lot of thought and testing went into it. The quality is legit, it plays great, and it’s super affordable compared to a lot of the big brands.

I’ve put a bunch of my friends on to GRIT because I genuinely believe in the paddle and the company. If you’re thinking about trying one, do it! You’ll be glad you did.
